Since 1942 approximately 70 Rotarians have devoted one weekend in the spring of each year to work on a maintenance program at a Camp that is designated for disadvantaged children. The Club usually also contributes financially to this worthwhile challenged children's camp program. Starting in May, 2003 The Rotary Club of Toronto will embark on a new adventure with Camp Huronda. This non-profit camp for children with diabetes is owned and operated by the Canadian Diabetes Assoc., was established in 1971 and is located on a beautifully wooded peninsula on Lake Waseosa near Huntsville.

This tradition has continued annually with a group of members from our Club who continue to make the camp ready for the children just before they embark on their much anticipated summer camping weekend.
