Begun in 1920 as a working group, not a fund raising organization, for wives and widows of Rotarians. Members work quickly for seven months making items needed by The Metro Children's Aid, the Cancer Society, The Hugh McMillan Rehabilitation Centre, The Hospital for Sick Children, The Laughlen Centre and St. Christopher's House (Meals on Wheels). Through the Doris Tippet Charitable Fund we are able to make donations to worthy causes.

This group has ceased to exist in its original format but have now been embraced by the Club as a subcommittee that does much appreciated handwork and crafts which they donate to the Healthy Beginnings program of the Club.
