This project was to help rebuild the communities in the capital of Honduras with the co-operation of the Rotary Club of Tegucigalpa after the initial rush of emergency aid by the various humanitarian agencies. The Rotary Club of Toronto has provided an ambulance, a mobile health van, medicines, a cold box for the van, and computers and supplies for the schools in shantytown areas. Funds from the International Service Committee and the Foundation have been substantially leveraged, and so the Club's involvement with Honduras will continue for at least the next year.
