The Rotary club of Toronto (and some other members of The Toronto Council of Rotary Clubs) partnered with Habitat for Humanity Toronto to blitz-build 10 homes on "Rotary Drive" in downtown Toronto. Funding to complete the project was raised by the Club members through various initiatives. Construction of the affordable housing was finished in September '05. This build was registered with Rotary International as a "Centennial Community Project". Member involvement was the focal point in building the 10 homes. Rotarians completed hands-on work along with partner families and other volunteers. The dedication ceremony took place on Sept. 25, 2005
