        Ashley Costa

My name is Ashley Costa and I am a student at the University of Toronto. I am currently a debater for the Hart House (U of T) team and was a Thursday meeting coordinator for the 2020-2021 year as well as representing Hart House at WUDC 2021 (World University Debating Championship), as a judge this summer. I have 6 years of competitive debating and public speaking experience. In high school, I headed the De La Salle debate society and have continued on to represent the University of Toronto as a debater and judge at many regional, national and international tournaments. I have also taught debating to various levels of students through my work as a debating coach. I am also a founding member of the Open Debate Initiative which has partnered with TCDSB and TDSB classrooms over the last year as well as the largest TDSB debating team to offer debating presentations.
