The Rotary Club of Toronto has booked multiple successful events and meetings for decades at The National Club and fondly refers to The National Club as
"Bill's Place".

Home to Canada’s current and future leaders, the National Club is a private retreat where members build their legacy while gaining rich experiences, relationships and personal growth. In our storied club house on Bay Street, members and guests enjoy a friendly, diverse, community supported by unrivalled service, amenities and programs.

Attracting leaders from across sectors including banking, law, insurance, marketing, medicine and technology, The National Club maintains a strong and diverse membership that is representative of the world of business today. A designated historic site, the clubhouse was built in 1907 and combines a warm, elegant charm of the past with an energetic and contemporary, modern atmosphere of the present.

The National Club was founded in 1874 and is one of the leading business and social clubs in Toronto, Canada. A designated historic site, the current clubhouse was built in 1907 and combines a warm and elegant heritage charm with a contemporary, modern aesthetic of today. Attracting leaders from sectors such as banking, insurance, marketing, law, finance, and the ever-growing technology sector, The National Club maintains a strong and diverse membership that is representative of the business world today. With unparalleled service and staff, members are treated to world-class events and experiences, exquisite fine dining and a home-away-from-home in the heart of the city.
An array of exciting and dynamic events allow members the opportunity to network within the business community, or contribute to philanthropic endeavours, like The National Club’s Annual Giving Back event that has since raised over $1,000,000 for local charities. Members also have access to the Wine Club, which features a 40,000-bottle wine cellar and exclusive winemaker events.

A new and ambitious strategic plan developed by The National Club’s forward-thinking board will bring the club through to its 150th anniversary in 2024. Cognizant of an evolving membership, phase one of this plan has seen the completion of a brand-new grill and tap room, a state-of-the-art business centre, and modern and attractive overnight accommodations completed at the end of 2017 to appeal to a wide variety of resident, non-resident, overseas and affiliate members alike.

This renovation comes only four years after the club unveiled a gorgeous Rooftop Patio and Lounge in 2013, maintaining the only outdoor rooftop dining area on Bay Street as an indulgent escape from the concrete jungle. In 2014, The National Club received the Canadian Society of Club Managers Club of the Year Award for its community involvement, exceptional success and contribution to CSCM and was recently chosen as a 2019-2020 Platinum Club of the World.
