Thank you very much. My daughter's name on the memory tree means a lot to me. Every year on December 31st, I come to Toronto from Montreal to create the illusion that I am celebrating the New Year with my only daughter, who died and is buried in Toronto. Just last year I saw the Tree and swore that her name would be there too.
For all the living, happy holidays!

Progress Place Hampers
I wanted to take an opportunity to thank you and your fellow Rotarians for all your support the past year, we just gave out all the holiday food hampers last week, please see pictures attached. Sincere thanks for your ongoing support to Progress Place and the members, they were so thrilled with the hampers especially as food costs continue to rise, it really is a huge help in providing access to food for so many living in poverty.
Looking forward to connecting in the New Year.

Club Holiday Party - December 15
Congratulations to Dauna Jones-Simmonds and Stuart Muirhead for a fabulous event at the Marriott Eaton Centre. We were treated to great food, wonderful music and a fun raffle. We debated the best decorated - the tree or Stuart's beautiful jacket! It was great to see so many of our members in attendance.
The Rotary Club Foundation presented cheques for $2,500 each to Salvation Army and Fort York Food Bank.
The meeting ended with our AGM to accept the financial reports and the approval of a new treasurer.

This event promises to be a fun-filled and informative evening!
You will hear from our Club President, Anny-Sandra, as well as other Rotarians who will provide you with an overview of what their committees do and how to get involved. There will also be numerous RCT members present, who will be available for any questions, (Ask Me Anything) you may have regarding Rotary and our club.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail of your choice will be offered.
We are very excited at the prospect of meeting you in person and looking forward to sharing with you the many benefits of being a member of the Rotary Club of Toronto.
For RCT members, please feel free to invite anyone who you think may be interested to join our wonderful club!
We have fifty members on this chat for fast communication. It worked wonderfully during our tree event. Ask to join - any member can add more people.
