On June 19, members toasted President Anny-Sandra Hamel at a farewell party held in her honour. Vice President nominee Pauline Lyons hosted Rotary Club of Toronto members on the beautiful rooftop patio of the National Club. They came to show their respect and support for the outgoing President. The celebration included gourmet foods, games, and a photo slide show of Anny-Sandra’s Presidential year 2023-2024.
Past President Jayson Phelps spoke about Anny-Sandra’s successes during her presidential year. The highlights of which were the Tree of Remembrance, the increase in both new members joining the club and member engagement.
President Elect Binoy Luckoo expressed gratitude on behalf of the club for Anny-Sandra’s leadership. He spoke about the support members receive from one another and how important this is for the club.
