Join award winning children’s author and storyteller Itah Sadu, as she guides us through a neighborhood’s memory, and the rich legacy of Black history makers and game changers in Toronto. Meet ordinary Canadians whose legacy impacted human rights and civil rights locally, nationally, and internationally.
Itah Sadu is a dynamic entrepreneur and community builder who utilizes creativity, leadership and teamwork to build infrastructure and legacy in communities. Her objective is simple and to the point: To work with organizations that engage in programs for youth with the focus on education, pathways and community economic development.
Itah’s youth entrepreneurship program designs have been adapted as models for job placement opportunities, skill development and leaders-in-training programming. One such programme was the Fresh Elements/Fresh Arts initiative designed for youth to develop technical and production skills in the cultural industries.
Come mix & mingle with our partners, donors, and volunteers. Share stories and ideas on how we can make this a bigger and better fundraiser in the years to come. Special prize to be awarded to one of our volunteers.

Mauricio Sagaon was born in Monterrey, Mexico, lives in Toronto and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
He works for Metrolinx Internal Audit Team and in the past for Honeywell and GMAC.
Mauricio has performed audits and business reviews in the Americas, Europe,and Asia.
Mauricio lives with his husband Hugo, likes to travel, different cuisines and interior design. Mauricio is honoured to join The Rotary Club of Toronto.

We need lots of volunteers to help support this incredible opportunity, and best news is anyone is welcome and you don't need to have any musical background. You can sign up here and note that if you are planning to help directly with the youth you will need to get a Vulnerable Sector Check.

To all our members and guests, come join us for a fun night of karaoke open to all at the Karaoke + Bar Lounge, 360 Yonge St. starting at 7:00 p.m.
We have a limited number of tickets at $20/person which covers the cost of entry and any proceeds will be contributed to Rotaract Toronto's Annual Fundraiser.
